The Morse Institute Library offers reference and information services to every segment of the community: students, parents, consumers, business people, job-seekers, recreational readers, and researchers. Telephone (508-647-6521), in-person and online assistance is available whenever the Library is open; email and MassAnswers are available at all times.

The Reference Department houses an extensive collection of standard reference sources, as well as specialized resources in either print or online databases in various subject areas:

Newspaper and magazine collections in print, microfilm and online
Services
Reference librarians staff the Reference Desk on the Second Level of the Library. Staff is available to:
Local history collection and Massachusetts collection of town histories and vital records
Forms for voter registration, federal and state taxes, and financial aid
InterLibrary Loan Service Materials available outside of the Minuteman Library Network may be requested through InterLibrary Loan (ILL).
ALL requests are made through the Reference Desk by phone, email, or in person
Books and audiovisual items that are loaned to the Morse Institute Library from outside of the Network may be checked out and used just as if they belonged to the Library
Microfilm that has been loaned to the Library may be used in the building. A microfilm reader, with printer, is available in the Reference Department
Photocopies of articles from journals, newspapers and magazines not owned by the Library may be requested through InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
Photocopy machine is available in the Reference Department (copies are 15¢ each)

when finding information on many subjects.
Reference librarians can help you determine the
best databases for your project, and assist you
with using them. Many databases can be used
