How to Request Materials Online

To request an item for pick-up at the Morse Library, go to the Minuteman Catalog and search by keyword, title, author, or subject. Once you find the item you want, click "Request It" to request the item.

You need a Minuteman library card and PIN to request items. If you don't know your PIN, call the Reference Department at 508-647-6521.

You will receive an e-mail or telephone call when your item is ready to be picked up. We hold requested items for 7 days. If you can't pick up an item in time, call the Circulation Department at 508-647-6520. In some cases, we can extend the pickup date by a few days.

Let Us Do It for You

To request adult or teen materials over the telephone, call the Reference Department at 508-647-6521.

To request children's materials over the telephone, call the Children's Department at 508-647-6522.

You may also stop by any service desk in the library to place a request.

Not in Minuteman?

If you can't find an item in the Minuteman Library Catalog, search the Virtual Catalog. The Virtual Catalog allows you to request items from most public libraries and public college libraries in Massachusetts.

If you need help placing a request in the Virtual Catalog, call the Reference Department at 508-647-6521.

Not in the Virtual Catalog?

To request an item from outside Minuteman or Virtual Catalog, please call our Reference Department at 508-647-6521. The Reference Department will assist you with an Interlibrary Loan. We can request almost any publication or magazine article for you.
