Computers & Technology in the Library

Computers

The library has computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office 2010. Computers for adult patrons are on the second floor, and computers for young adults are in the Teen Room on the second floor.

Library computers are available for one hour sessions. If there is not a wait list, your session may be extended for more time.

You can log in with a Minuteman library card number and PIN. If you don't have a Minuteman library card, visitor passes are available.

You can print from any Internet computer on the second floor. Black-and-white pages cost $0.15, and color pages cost $0.50.

Scanners are available for use with any public computer. Come to the Reference Desk on the second floor to request a scanner.

We offer Wi-Fi and wireless printing. Come to the Reference Desk on the second floor to use wireless printing.

Children's Computers

The children's room has computers available. Children may sign up for 30-minute computer sessions.

Computer Help

If you need help using the Internet or Microsoft Office, library staff can help with basic questions. However, we cannot guarantee expertise with every website or technical problem.

CD Listening Stations

We have 4 CD listening stations. The listening stations play regular and MP3 CDs. We have one listening station in the Children's Room, one on the main floor, and two on the upper floor.

The CD listening stations were donated by the Friends of the Morse Institute Library.

Copiers and Microfilm Readers

We have black-and-white copiers and two microfilm readers with printers attached. Copies cost $0.15/page.
