We request that you keep sick children at home. Programs may be cancelled at the discretion of the library and will be cancelled if the Natick Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather.

Dig Into Summer Ice Cream Party
Thursday, June 27 at 2 pm
Drop in for story and tasty treat time for families with children ages 3–grade 4. We’re digging into summer reading with three scoops of good fun—stories, songs, and do-it-yourself sundaes. Yum! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Younger siblings are welcome in family groupings that include children of the targeted age.
Dig Into Reading is sponsored by the Morse Institute Library, the Friends of the Morse Institute Library, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, as well as a generous grant from MathWorks.

Museum of Science Traveling Program: Dig Into Dinosaurs
Friday, July 12 from 10:30–11:30 am
Dig into the world of dinosaurs using real and model fossils, a simulated dinosaur trackway, and a replica field site. One dino-mite adventure for graduates of kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Registration required.

Origami Workshop with Andrew Anselmo
Friday, July 19 from 10:30–11:30 am
Dig into something new this summer. Learn the art of Japanese paper folding. For students entering grades 4–6. Registration required.

Gargoyle's Pizza Party
Friday, July 26 from 10:30 am–12 pm.
Come join the fun as we dig into The Top of the Pizzas by Bill Basso, create fantastic creatures from found materials, and feast on a tasty snack.
This story and activity time is for families with children ages 3–grade

Dig into Cartooning with Jonathan Todd
Tuesday, July 30 from 6:30–7:15 pm
Cartoonist, Jonathan Todd, will demonstrate how a comic strip idea is developed, drawn, and inked. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their own cartoon character and create a comic strip. For aspiring comic book artists entering grades 3–5. Registration required.

Wednesdays from 2–8 pm, starting July 3
